Upcoming Industrial Parks

SIPCOT is foraying into investment promotion in the tourism industry. As part of this initiative, SIPCOT is identifying suitable locations in coordination with the Tourism Department and the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation, and developing them into well equipped tourist destinations that can be allotted to investors in the hospitality sector.

     Apart from the existing 40 Industrial Parks, SIPCOT is in the process of establishing new Industrial Parks at 21 locations,  over a total  extent of 21,404.11 acres.

     SIPCOT has proposed to create a land bank of 45,000 acres over a period of five years, including its upcoming industrial parks and proposed industrial parks, to cater to the demand of the prospective investors/entrepreneurs. This land bank will be created with major focus on industrially backward districts.
